JACK LAYTON IN HAMILTON NEXT WEDNESDAY
Wayne Marston holding Townhall Series

Hamilton – Wayne Marston, MP (Hamilton East – Stoney Creek), will be joined by the Jack Layton, Leader of Canada’s NDP at a townhall on Wednesday evening focusing on the manufacturing industry and the NDP’s Jobs Strategy.

The townhall on manufacturing is one of a series of townhalls Mr. Marston is holding this month. All townhalls are open to the media and public and do not require an RSVP.

TOWNHALL SERIES: January 2008

MANUFACTURING TOWNHALL: January 16th, 6-8 pm
Legion Branch 58, 1180 Barton Street East
Speakers: Jack Layton, Wayne Marston, MP Paul Miller, MPP and Charles Campbell (USW).
Q & A session with Jack will follow his speech (6:15 start)

BUDGET TOWNHALLS: January 14th or 18th from 6-8 pm

January 14th: Stoney Creek City Hall, 777 Hwy 8 at Jones (Saltfleet Rm)
January 18th: Riverdale Community Centre, 150 Violet Drive
Speakers: At each event, Wayne will be joined by guest speakers. Q & A sessions will follow speeches.

ENVIRONMENT TOWNHALL: January 24th, 6-8 pm
Stoney Creek City Hall, 777 Hwy 8 at Jones Rd (Council Chambers)

Speakers: Wayne will be joined by local environmental leaders and activists to provide an overview of issues in Hamilton. Q & A session will follow the speeches.
